I say today, because I change my opinion pretty quickly.. as most women do. So here’s of list of things I like right now.
The pina salsa from Baja Fresh (pictured bottom right). They got rid of their peach salsa which was SOO freaking good on salad (replacing dressing) but when I went there this weekend, I see they got a pina salsa that is hotter but just as good flavor. It’s white onion, cilantro, pineapple, and some other delicious stuff. I just have a cup of it and mix it with their mild salsa (bottom left). It’s SO good. Even better than Chipotle Tabasco! The top two are the *HOT* salsa’s at Baja, which Matt loves and puts on everything. It’s a bit hot for me but to each his own.
This weekend we had to go to Target to get some stuff and we really wanted something yummy to drink so Matt picked up a bunch of Vitamin Water ZERO’s. They were only a buck a bottle (actually not cheap now that I type the price–LOL) and the peach-y one is my favorite. (Can you tell I like peach stuff??) They also have a mixed berry one that’s pretty good. The “rise” one (orange flavored) is nasty and does not wake you up as promised. But the one above is soo good! Try it!
The new Emily Giffin novel, Heart of the Matter. I have only put in around 40 minutes total reading time (that was time reading on commercial breaks while watching re-runs of Cheers on the Hallmark channel at midnight… gripping stuff, I know) so I’m only 4-5 chapters in but so far so good. Feels pretty different than my favorite book of her, Something Borrowed, but I’m liking it. She creates such relate-able characters that I pretty much am able to identify with a few aspects of each person so I can get really into it. I love books like that. And she’s just such a cute author!
My newest (well, one of my newest) pairs of pumps. They’re called “Chutes and Ladders” and they are made by Naughty Monkey ((a pretty cool shoe brand that makes a lot of animal print/fur covered shoes)). I’ve worn them twice and they are really comfortable. The first time I wore them I did a chocolate colored top, black skirt and red jewelery. Today I wore them with a red blouse, black shirt and black bracelets. I liked the second outfit better. Anyway, if you haven’t bought their shoes, you should try ‘em! They are so comfy. Seriously.
Scar Jo won a Tony (I didn’t even know she did live stage work?!) and she hair cool hair and make up. So I like this. I want to know why she never brings Ryan Reynolds with her anywhere ((would he over-shadow her?)) but still, she looked pretty. I really like her in Match Point and The Other Boleyn Girl. I mean, I like her in almost everything she does but she really gave great performances in those two movies. I’m really happy for her. She wore a funky dress but pulled it off… which is good because sometimes she wears some weird stuff. Click here to see another picture of her at the press room from the Tony’s.
Umm and lastly, I don’t have a picture of this person but… the guy that works out at my gym that looks like Quentin “The Carver” from Nip/Tuck! ((See below)) OMG he isn’t a spitting image per say, but he looks enough like him to make me laugh everytime I see the poor guy! No weenie! Ha! Okay, Happy Monday night everyone
