Um, believe it or not but my specialty is often being really obnoxious. I know, who would’ve guessed, right? Lucky for me my obnoxious tirade yesterday led to my Day6 picture. Here it is:
(Day 6, Hey.. I didn’t say I got a cute Day 6 picture.. just A picture!)
Now let’s back up to see how the obnxiousness started. I got home from the maternity shoot, hot & tired BUT determined to get a picture for the 365 challenge regardless of how fug, fat, and worn out I looked. So I handed the baby camera (the Canon Powershot SD630) to Matt and asked him to take a picture. Without putting any thought or time into it, he literally took the picture right where our hands met where I gave him the camera. It felt very up close and hideous. I said to him: “Hey, that was wayy too close. I know that was bad!”, and he said to me: “No, it wasn’t. People can see your skin really close up now.” Very funny. Because I know seeing my skin up close is not really a good thing, I decided to call it on. I then took the camera from him as he jumped up (laughing, BTW, as his own hilarity) and ran down the stairs. I chased him and obnoxiously paparazzi-ed him until finally he gave me an Indian burn, stole the camera, took the picture above (I tried a quick pose to show him I didn’t mind getting paparazzi-ed like he did) and called it off. If it sounds like I was acting 7/being obnoxious then it sounds about right. Here are a few of my good pap-shots:
Moving on to my Monday.
Today I had an amazing lunch of: apple, two tablespoons peanut butter (for the apple, of course!), watermelon and yogurt. MMM. I brought tuna but once I got to work I saw that someone brought a watermelon and you peeps know how much I loves me some watermelon. So I decided to (rightfully) ditch the tuna and go for a fruity lunch. It’s rare for my work to have any fruit outside of the occasional Costco apples, so I decided to take advantage of it. Here’s my lunch:
Today at work it was rough. Busy and tiring, to say the least. I am pretty sure my boss knew the day was chaotic so she bought me and a colleague Starbucks. And this is where my Day 7 picture comes in. It’s me, at my desk, thoroughly enjoying my afternoon treat:
The coffee was a nice pick-me-up, especially since I stayed nearly a half an hour later than I should have. I was on a coffee high (or cleaning kick, they are interchangeable) so when I came home I cleaned the kitchen sink, the kitchen counter tops, swept the whole down stairs, vaccuumed the stairs and the area rug down stairs, and started the laundry. Sweat inducing, definitely. Now my hub’s home and we’re going to enjoy some dinner and r&r before g-y-m time.
How was your Monday peeps?
