I Love Panera!

Monterey with Matt..2 years ago!

(Yeah, I know that photo has nothing to do with Tuesday, or Panera, but it reminds me of being in Monterey on vacation with Matt and that’s wayy better than Tuesday, Panera, or even Friday!) :)

Ahh, Tuesday. It’s not Monday so it’s already good, by default.

This morning I had a quick, simple, and filling breakfast of 2 cups of Multigrain Cheerios with 1 cup Light Vanilla Soymilk. Delicious and just 290 calories total! While I forgot to take a picture, it looked just like this: (a photo from when I had Multigrain Cheerios and Fiber One cereal for lunch last week)

Multigrain Cheerios & Fiber One

I ate breakfast earlier than normal this morning so I was needing a snack around 10:30, after my three cups of coffee ;) I opted for a cup of applesauce and an apple, which was a new snack for me! It was really good and just 131 calories, give or a take a few.

Then for lunch I went out with a few work peeps. Last Saturday was my One Year Anniversary at the company I work for so my boss and my former boss said we could go out to lunch to celebrate. We went this afternoon and I chose Panera all because of the Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken Salad. It’s AMAZING, cool, fresh, and delicious ALL for just 280 calories.. and that’s with the dressing! Seriously so good. I managed to snap a few pics before I scarfed it down. Sorry about the quality, I took them with my cell phone at the lunch table :)

Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken Salad at Panera Bread

Mmm, fresh fruit & cold lettuce :)

This salad contains: Romaine lettuce, herb chicken, fresh strawberries, fresh blueberries, pineapple chunks, pecans, and poppyseed dressing. It is seriously delicious! Worth have a swollen and irritated mouth over! (I’m kinda allergic to pineapple. But only a little!) I chose the apple as my side and saved it for an afternoon snack, where I complimented it with 1 1/2 tablespoons of melted Peanut Butter :)

Matt hasn’t been feeling well because of his antibiotics he is taking for the surgery he had. We had to go to the Doctor’s this evening after work, so I had a quick but satisfying dinner of a rotisserie chicken sandwich on a Orowheat Multigrain Sandwich thin with Horseradish Mayo and a slice of cheddar cheese. (We are out of lettuce! OUT! So sad!) With it I had 1/2  cup of 1% cottage cheese with Tabasco and a handful of Tostitos corn chips. The Tabasco really hit the spot! Dinner was 440 calories. I am still full and that was 4 hours ago!

I have been snacking horribly lately and today I started logging my food again. I did better; although I still used about 200 calories on post-work snacks that I wanted to skip. All in all, though, I had a pretty darn good day! I hope each day just keeps gettin’ better!

Matt has another Doctor’s appointment tomorrow afternoon so I am keeping my fingers crossed everything goes well!

Hope you guys had a good Tuesday and guess what?

I’ve got a giveaway coming up tomorrow morning :) Stay tuned :)

I work all day, how would I be able to bring you one?! Butt!

It was! The only downside I guess would be the price. It was about $9.00 after tax, which makes it pretty pricey. But worth it because it’s so low calorie and refreshing!
