It’s Sunday. The day to relax.
Well, usually. But there will be no relaxing today. We are enjoying our morning coffee now but we still have to go to the gym, finish putting up our new blinds, fold all the laundry and put it away (that will be me), vacuum (me again), go to a friend’s daughter’s communion this afternoon, and then clean the bathrooms (guess who). I know what you may be thinking–why didn’t you do the housework yesterday? I started the laundry yesterday, but the hubby and I were at Home Depot shopping for a drill and weed whacker for nearly an hour, and then we did yard work for 2 1/2 more hours. AND THEN we started putting the blinds up. So yeah, we’ve been pretty busy.
So now for a low-key Sunday, here’s a Getting to know you from Keely
1. The most expensive thing hanging in my closet is…..? My wedding dress. I know I should have it in a better place than the back of my closet, but I don’t. So that officially makes it the most expensive thing in there. Nothing else even comes close, since I keep my purses in the guest bedroom closet!
2. Have you ever played a team sport? Yes–my whole life I’ve played team sports like softball and volleyball. And I’m on a co-ed softball team for my husband’s work. I’m not good but, hey, I show up 
3. If you were a bug, what kind would you be? I hate bugs, like most people do. But I guess in the name of the quiz, I would say… a butterfly? Because they aren’t annoying like other bugs and you hardly ever see them around. Or maybe there’s just not many around where I live but still.
4. Where on your body is the worst place to get sunburned? My face. If anything else peels I can hide it, or at least make it look acceptable. A peeling face is nasty on all accounts.
5. Are you happy? Yes.
6. People are always abbreviating..are there any abbreviations that make your skin crawl when people use them? ANTM. I don’t watch America’s Next Top Model but I do read a lot of celebrity blogs and when I see “ANTM” I’m just so irritated. I hate that! I don’t know why I can’t stand that abbreviation but I just can’t.
7. Do you love where you live..or could you live anywhere? I love where I live and I definitely could not live anywhere. I think where I live is a good mix of mildly cold winters and super hot summers. Wouldn’t want it any other way.
8. What, if any, extreme measures do you go to to keep yourself from overeating when you’re full? Get back to me on that! It’s hard for me to push the plate away when I’m full if it’s something I really love. I know a woman who orders food at a restaurant and tells them to wrap up half of it and she only eats half, to prevent overeating.

On a side note. A blog I read A LOT (and have for many years) did a post recently about bloggers who “are always apologizing for being too busy to post but not actually posting” and how that’s very lame. I agree. I think I do make excuses a lot on why I don’t post… full-time job, gym, housework, all in a day… but I can do better. Anyone out there know of a really good inspirational quote? Maybe periodically reading something inspiring will help me choose blogging over sleeping or watching TV.
