Drinking Water

So, I know drinking water is really important to staying healthy. I know. I know. I know. My husband has been telling me that not drinking enough water is the cause of many of my ailments for the last couple of years. Only recently have I really seen the other side of this.

A couple of weeks ago, I started drinking about 6 bottles of water a day, in addition to some G2 and Iced Tea. Being this hydrated made me feel great. Not good, not alright, not hyrdrated.. but GREAT. I wasn’t as tired, I didn’t need as much caffiene, and I felt healthier.

For the last three days, I haven’t been drinking enough water. I know this because yesterday I had a killer headache, I woke up with one today, and I can feel a slight UTI coming on. I attribute these ailments to not drinking enough water. As soon as I drank two bottles of water today, I felt so much better. So I’ve yet again learned my lesson.

I am a person who needs flavor, so I put zero calorie, sugar free packets into my water. I get them really cheap and they’re the off-brand of Crystal Light. They make water so much better (except when I am working out… when only plain water tastes good) but last night I realized one pack was for two bottles instead of one. This makes sense because one packet per one bottle was really, really flavorful and stained my tongue for a day. Nonetheless, the packets make it easier for me to meet my water quota.

How do you drink water?

I've never really been a big water drinker. The closest I get to it is drinking squash. Is that the same as drinking water?

I can't say I know what squash is? Because if it's the liquefied version of the vegetable squash–that sounds icky. What is it?

Squash is watered down juice. Not fresh, but concentrated juice. You add water to it (about 1 part juice to 5 parts water) and then you have your drink

When I say juice, I mean a fruit flavoured (orange, pineapple, lemon, tropical) high concentrate liquid. Very very strong in flavour. Then you water it down (like mentioned above) and yo have your drink.
