I can’t believe (knock on wood) I haven’t forgotten a day yet! The 365 Day Challenge is more difficult than I thought it would be, just because sometimes I don’t want to look at myself, much less TAKE A PICTURE and then POST IT for the world to see.. but I’m doing it. I think, in the end, it will be fun to see 365 days worth of photos of just myself. Then I can see change, remember certain days, and laugh at others. I mean, some people do the challenge of things they see everyday but for me, that would suck because I see the same stinkin’ buildings everyday. And if you could see the place I worked at, you’d be glad I was choosing the self-portrait/picture of self everyday… trust me.
Moving on.
Today at the gym I ran for 25 minutes and did an easy hike for 10 for a total of 35 minutes of cardio.I planned an ‘easy’ cardio day since my shins & forearms are really sore from yardwork yesterday. So this work out was just right. Any more and my body would’ve melted in a pile and my eyes would have turned to X’s, like so:
I came out of the gym looking like I had just taken a shower. I always sweat wayy more when I work out in the prime time gym hours (between 6 and 8pm) because the cardio room is JAM PACKED full of peeps and the air is worse. That’s what I’m thinking, at least. Could all just be mental.
Tomorrow is Friday so I’m going to try and squeeze in some quality cardio after work before Matt & I go to a beer pong/ping pong tournament at our friends house. Sounds enticing, doesn’t it?
Now I’m cleaning house (vacuuming the upstairs, doing laundry, cleaning the bathrooms, and baking a lil’ somethin-somethin’ for my husband to take to work tomorrow–pics later, of course) and then I plan to take a hot shower, deep condition my hair and paint my finger nails and toe nails with the new nail polish I picked up today. The latter part of my night sounds amazing… now to just get done with the cleaning… ugh.
Hope everyone had a happy Thursday. Mine blew (seriously, it did) but luckily it’s FRIDAY tomorrow. Thank goodness.
