68 Days Until Mexico

For our one year wedding anniversary, Matt and I are going on a 7-day cruise to Mexico. We are both really excited, even more so since we officially booked yesterday. I’ve been on a 4-day cruise to Mexico (left from So Cal, then stopped at San Diego, Catalina, Ensenada) but it was four or five years ago so this trip will be very different. We leave port on our actual anniversary so I can’t help but think about how romantic it will be to be on the deck watching the sun set as well leave port.

For this cruise, we are going on the 4-star Mariner of the Seas (Royal Caribbean), leaving Los Angeles and stopping at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Mazatlan, Mexico; Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; before coming home to Los Angeles again. We will be on the 8th deck out of 15 decks. The last cruise I went on we had one of the cheapest rooms (no window, no balcony, etc) and this time Matt and I almost opted for a rather expensive room with a balcony and window but for the extra 500 dollars we decided we’d do a little on board shopping and fine dining.. so we opted for the cheapest of the rooms. Considering it’s 7-days and there is so mucb stuff to do, I’m betting we’re just in our cabin to sleep and shower, anyway. Click here to see our level and where our cabin is located.

I’m really excited. Now all I need to do is get a tan so that going to Mexico in August doesn’t melt the skin off my body!

Going on a cruise sounds cool. I've never been on one, closest I came was a boat journey that took a few hours.

I've wanted to go on a good cruise holiday and see many cruise ships from my balcony, always wondered where they are going and how it feels sleeping on the sea and what people do for fun on them?

    Hope you have fun.

    Robbie,

Thanks, I hope it's fun too. This is my second but this one is 7 days instead of 4..

The view from your balcony is insane.. I'd just sit and look out all day. And wondering about what the people are doing… that is exactly how I am.
