(Not real, most likely, but still made me laugh!)
(Post-op Update #4 was mixed into “Saturday Night“, in case you were wondering about the sequence of numbers!)
I am VERY tired of being uncomfortable/in pain/sore/unable to do normal tasks. Here are a list of things that I’m about to scream over:
1. the burning pain I get in the bottom of my right boob when I do something with my right arm that my body doesn’t like. Or when I sit up in the morning. Or do anything in the morning, actually.
2. the numb feeling like my boobs are a foreign object completely separate from my body.
3. the feeling that there is a dumbbell sitting on my sternum preventing me from taking full breaths
4. the discomfort in my knuckles, arms, and shoulders on a daily basis.
5. having my implants look like pecs until they fall into place (and the creeping feeling it gives my throat)
The list could go on but I stop there as those are the most annoying things. Yesterday morning I did the *big* shower. Washed my hair, shaved my legs/armpits, washed by body, etc. Sounds like a normal shower but that was the first time I showered by myself post-op and doing those things were a bitch. I actually took 28 minutes in the shower where normally I’m out in 10-15. It’s exhausting. Luckily I don’t wash my hair everyday when I’m not working out so this morning my shower was just soap but I have to say… still very painful on my right boob problem. I’m really hoping that burning feeling goes away REALLY soon.
I’m not wearing that big white strap today. I brought it but I’m doing a little test. Is ALL my arm/finger/knuckle/even shoulder pain coming from that strap? I have a feeling YES is the answer so we will see how today goes. I brought an 800 mg ibuprofen with me today, as well as my pain pills, just in case. I also decided I would keep taking the laxatives until they are gone (it’s a small box) that way I’m guaranteed to get back on track.
I’m going to start taking my x-mile walks at night.
I think the smaller my tummy gets, the better
My goal is to lose 12 pounds by the 4th of July. I was having trouble with my appetite the last week but today I’m going to eat healthy and the whole bit. Before I was just concerned with getting SOMETHING in my stomach, even if it was a slice of cheese and a popsiscle. BUT that’s no way to treat your body or to lose weight, so I’m going to be picky picky this next month.
So those are my updates. OH and
Matt and I started watching Season 1 of Curb Your Enthusiasm last night. I think it’s hilarious. I think it has to grow on Matt. He loved Seinfeld but this is slightly slower-paced.
What’s new with all YOU?
