This picture is of the old white picket fences that divides our front yard from our neighbors front yard. There are also a bunch of pink and purple flowers growing through the fence, so it makes beautiful photographs. This one, however, is of the last two posts which I found aesthetically pleasing for reasons I don’t even know myself. But it just looked neat so I snapped it, using a 1.4 f-stop to blur out the background.
These are the *terrible* lights in our master bathroom. The color (Behr’s bleached denim) is great, but the lights are ancient. We just haven’t got around to picking new lights out. They get soo hot, too, that when I am putting my make up on I have to turn them off or else I’ll sweat. True story. They do have a “movie-star dressing room” kind of feel but they also have a cheap 80′s feel too. This pic is taken because I was working on trying to focus on one object that is the few of a row. More f-stop work.
I took this picture a couple of months ago before I really started to try and learn about our camera. One of my best friends, Brooke, was throwing her sister-in-law a bridal shower and they had this Juicy Couture cake specially made. It was really cute. Left before they cut it but I imagine it being tasty. I like Juicy Couture–my sister gives me Juicy gifts quite often. Never bought any of it for myself, though.
